Visionary Scholarship Details
Applicant must be currently enrolled as a High School Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior (2024, 2023, 2022, or 2021) and must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen. Financial need is NOT considered; all income levels are encouraged to apply.
Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 each with multiple winners to be selected. Each award is a non-renewable, one-time award and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the student’s first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student’s choosing within the US.

Winners chosen: June 30, 2021
Awards distributed: July 31, 2021
Only one application per student, per award year will be accepted.
Only non-winners may reapply each subsequent year.
HOW TO APPLY

You will receive an Application Packet within two (2) weeks from the time you register. If you have NOT received your application packet within two (2) weeks, please email us.
Only email if you have completed the Registration Page and have NOT received an application packet within two (2) weeks.
All applications for the American College Foundation’s Visionary Scholarship Program will consist of:
- Completed ACF Visionary Scholarship Application
- Student’s most recent unofficial high school transcript
- 500-word essay on “Why College is Important to Me”
All components of the application must be received completely at the time of submission. Applicant will NOT be notified of a partial and/or incomplete application. Applications are judged on the ability to follow guidelines (25%), grammar and punctuation (25%), and both the originality and overall merit of the written essay (50%).

When sending in the application via mail, be sure to include your unique code provided by your CCF advisor. If you have not received your unique ID, please email us today!
The ACF Scholarship Committee will determine, and has final say, on all award recipients. Selected recipients agree that their application and award information including essay, picture, name, state, high school grade level, and award amount may be acknowledged on the American College Foundation website and associated materials.
All submitted application packets become the exclusive property of the American College Foundation. No correspondence regarding the receipt, screening, verification, or judging status of a submitted application packet will be accepted. An application packet may NOT be amended or supplemented
Each award is a one-time, non-renewable, award that is paid directly to the institution and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the student’s first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student’s choosing within the United States. In the event an underclassman is an award recipient, the monies will be held by the American College Foundation until the student completes high school and begins their higher education.
